For the production of Middle Mountain arrow shafts, only high quality wood from Austria is used. The fir wood is cut in winter, very often under difficult conditions, and taking into account the phases of the moon. In addition to the lower price, the native fir wood has yet more advantages. Fir shafts have about 10 % less weight than cedar shafts, but have the same flight qualities. This Austrian product offers a perfect alternative to cedar shafts.
